Why log rolling?

Log Rolling, sport of the lumberjacks, is coming into the 21st century and becoming very popular.

Log Rolling is a competitive sport! But you don’t have to compete to benefit- recreational log rolling is a fun, challenging, and exciting opportunity to improve your overall fitness with a functional activity.

Log rolling is great for core strength and balance! This is an excellent cross training activity that is fun for the whole family. Beginners must be able to swim 25 yards independently and tread water for 1 minute. (Please check class descriptions for ages- some classes are open to kids and some are not!)

Birling pronounced burl-ing is a game played by lumberjacks, in which each tries to balance longest on a floating log while rotating the log with the feet. -Alexandria Log Rolling
